A limited-edition meatball-flavoured lollipop inspired by IKEA’s iconic Swedish meatballs will be distributed in stores from June. Following a viral post shared on 1 April, IKEA franchisee Ingka Group has partnered with Chupa Chups to turn the concept into a real product. The flavour combines elements of the traditional Swedish meatball with lingonberry jam, a classic accompaniment served in IKEA restaurants.

The lollipop was developed by Chupa Chups as part of a collaboration aimed at exploring unexpected flavour combinations. According to the company, the project reflects its ongoing interest in playful product innovation. A total of one million lollipops will be produced and distributed free of charge in Ingka Group–owned IKEA stores worldwide, with no plans for retail sales.

IKEA representatives noted that the initiative follows strong public interest generated by the original announcement and is intended as a short-term promotional experience.
